Hugo Sutton MD,FRCSC, graduated from University of London, UK in 1970, worked for 2 years in Grande Cache AB as a Family Doctor, before training in Ophthalmology at UBC, where he remains a Clinical Associate Professor .Dr. Sutton has carried out more than 10,000 cataract surgical procedures and more than 40,000 laser refractive procedures (LASIK) in his career. He was the first surgeon to carry out cataract surgery with lens implantation at the Richmond General Hospital in the 1980’s. He is currently working at Central Eye (www.central-eye.com) providing urgent and routine comprehensive Ophthalmology care, with diagnostic retinal imaging, minor Ophthalmic and lid surgery with short wait times for all consultations at our Richmond, Surrey locations.
